Our Gonzaga Grad
The blog has been devoid of posts for the past few days because of this:
We were all in Spokane for a few days to celebrate DD#2’s graduation from Gonzaga University. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Business Administration with minors in History and Italian Studies. We had family join us for the weekend, too, including DD#1 and her boyfriend. My mother came from Cleveland, my sister from Charlotte, the husband’s mother and stepfather from Maryland, his sisters from California, and his brother and father from Colorado. My cousin, who works at Nordstrom in Seattle and has been mentoring DD#2, also joined us, with her boyfriend, for the celebratory dinner on Saturday night.
DD#2 is now home with us for a couple of weeks before moving to Seattle to work at a Nordstrom there for the summer.
It’s been an exhausting couple of days. I need to re-establish some equilibrium and figure out how the past 22 years went by so fast. I’ll write more later this week.
