Happiness is Pushing Boulders Up Hills

I am making headway. I actually turned on the serger yesterday, although I turned it off again after deciding the knit hat project had priority. I am going to have to overcome a bit of inertia after not having sewn for a month. Inertia can be overcome by starting with a small project—an easy win—before jumping back in with a larger one. I see some zipper pouches in the near future.

I also talked to someone locally about doing more Facebook advertising for the sewing school. Trying to navigate ad placements on social media is a full-time job. For a very reasonable amount of money, this person is going to create the ads for me and run them for a month. I am trying a few different avenues to see which ones generate the best response.

Things are happening. I am trying to complete at least one task every day that moves the needle on each of my projects. I will complete more tasks if time allows.

I started following a guy on Twitter named Justin Skycak, and he posts a lot of content about productivity. This recent post resonated with me. When people ask me how I get so much done, it really boils down to this kind of approach:

The husband operates much like this, too. We are two peas in a pod. Someone summed up this post with the phrase, “Imagine Sisyphus happy.” Happy to be pushing those boulders up all those hills.

This is another way of saying the same thing:

These are the things I think about while I am awake, LOL.

We got a very respectable crop of nice-looking apples from the Golden Delicious tree.

I thought I might make another batch of apple pie filling, but I need to get salsa made, first. The husband can take these for lunch.
